How to relinearize a printer profile in ProofMaster 4

The relinearizing process has changed in ProofMaster 4. This FAQ guides you through the new relinearization process.

First, select your printer profile or your queue in the ProofMaster Calibrator.

Click the "Edit..." button, and then click the "Next" button until you are in the "Printer Linearization" window.

Click "Print" to send a new linearization file to the printer.

Measure the linearization chart and click "Next".

The next window is the “color gamut of the printer” window. Click "Exit" in this window.

You will then be prompted with the following options:

Click the “Save As...” button and re-save you profile with a new name.

You have now a new, relinearized version of your printer profile.
