License lost - license troubleshooting
This article explains what to do when your software suddenly runs in demo mode.
Before you start:
- Make sure that your license is activated on computer
- No dongle is plugged in the computer
- First try to simply restart the computer where the license is installed. If restarting does not work, continue to step 2.
- Open license info of ProofMaster and click the "Update" button.
- If clicking "Update" does not work, de-activate and re-activate the license.
De-activating and re-activating your license on a PC:
- Open License Info of ProofMaster v4 RIP
- Right click on the top ‘blue bar’ of the License Info screen
- Follow the wizard, you should get "deactivation successful"
- Close the License Info window
- Reopen License Info
- Click on the activation button
- Enter your registration code (your registration code can be found on your license voucher)
- Enter your system password when promped for. Your license is now activated.
De-activating and re-activating your license on a Mac:
- Open License Info of ProofMaster v4 RIP
- In the License Info menu, click on File -> "Deactivate license..."
- Follow the wizard, you should get "deactivation successful"
- Close the License Info window
- Reopen License Info
- Click on the activation button
- Enter your registration code (your registration code can be found on your license voucher)
- Enter your system password when promped for. Your license is now activated.
