Customer Support Engineer

Description

Four Pees is an international business partner providing marketing, sales and distribution, as well as professional services for collaboration, production automation and color optimization solutions.

Customer Support Engineers are responsible for solving cases by providing consultative, expert knowledge support to our dealers and end-users. This includes conversations with customers through email and phone to troubleshoot and understand problems, research and discovery to find solutions and work-arounds and escalations to appropriate channels for further investigation and closure.

While Customer Support Engineers are expected to have a wide interest across different products and technologies, we are looking for a person with specific interest and focus on color technology and hard-copy proofing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, courteous and complete resolution to technical questions and problems.
  • Share best practices with team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of customer support and contribute to the knowledge base and forum.
  • Provide timely account status reporting both to customers and management.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor degree in graphic arts or IT.
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in an equivalent or relevant position.
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills, preferably in Dutch, English and French.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and flexibly while setting correct priorities.
  • Customer-oriented, solution-minded problem solver, focused on providing solutions to your customer and following through until the customer is satisfied.
  • Experience with any of the following is considered a plus:
    • Additional language knowledge (Spanish, German…)
    • RIP software
    • Color management tools, proofing tools
    • PDF, PDF preflighting…
    • Workflow tools
